My Therapeutic Style & Approach:

Hello! I am so happy that you’re here.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #153345) under the supervision of Kimia Kabir (LMFT #122610) I provide individual and couples therapy online and in-person at our office in Playa Vista. I am currently accepting new clients!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to sharing your most vulnerable thoughts with someone new. I get it, because I’ve been there – looking for a safe outlet but not knowing where to begin. In my practice, no thought or feeling is "abnormal.” I aim to create a warm, judgement-free space where we will uncover and process the beliefs and patterns that have brought you to therapy.

I have experience working with clients facing a variety of issues and unique challenges and I customize my approach based on the needs of each individual client. I utilize an integrative, client-centered approach, often incorporating techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and psychodynamic therapy. I believe that therapy doesn’t always have to feel like work, and I also value humor and the therapeutic relationship just as much as any other intervention.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in television casting. Having experienced the pressures and mental challenges that can come with working in entertainment, I’m equipped to support professionals and talent navigating the unique demands of the industry. I also enjoy working with clients dealing with relationship OCD/anxiety, where natural doubts become obsessive and intrusive, leading to constant anxiety and fear. With deep empathy rooted in firsthand experience, I use a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help you break free from your thoughts and foster a healthier relationship not just with your partner, but with yourself.

It is my passion to help clients feel less isolated by normalizing the challenges that come with being human, especially those that may seem scary or taboo. I’ve personally experienced the transformative power of working with someone who makes you feel safe and understood, and I hope to help facilitate the same healing experience for you. In my free time I enjoy trying out new recipes, reading mystery thrillers, and spending time with friends, family and my 14-pound cat Louie; who believes he is a dog.
