My Therapeutic Style & Approach:

Hello everyone!

As an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT# 138198) under supervision of Kimia Kabir (LMFT#122610) I provide individual and couple therapy via telehealth or at our relaxing office in Playa Vista; In Touch Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently accepting new clients!

You know the capital of Kansas, but you hesitate when you’re asked what you do for fun. We go through years of education, but we often don’t even know ourselves. All we do know is something feels off…we feel unfulfilled in our work, and our relationships feel draining. We’ve worked so hard to make those around us proud, we forgot to think about how we feel about ourselves. Let's change that. My goal is to provide a space free of distraction and judgement so we can explore the experiences and relationships in your life that shaped you and begin to figure out our own personal values and strengths.

Utilizing a client-centered approach, I cater my sessions to the need of each unique individual. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential to effective therapy, so it is my focus to collaborate on goals with my clients and create a trusting, calm supportive environment for you to gather your own insight and perspective. I enjoy working with folks who identify with relationship set-ups of all kinds, including open relationships, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and monogamy; as a member of the ENM community myself, I respect each individual’s right to how they choose to live their life.

I truly care about my clients and enjoy being a support in someone's life. I believe the closer one is to becoming their authentic self, the more life begins to make sense and the more one feels fulfilled in their daily lives; let’s get to know you together.

In my free time I love to enjoy the outdoors, spend time with my loved ones, enjoy a quiet morning with an iced coffee or snuggle with my big Muppet of a dog, Pirus.
